Imagine waking up in a giant cube with no recollection of how you got there and no idea how to escape. The characters in Cube 2 wake up in some twisted government experiment and have to find a way out fast or they will face certain death. They are trapped inside of a Hypercube, each cube has six doors that lead to another cube and each room could have a different gravitational pull, a different time speed, and could even be a parallel alternate reality.

Cube 2: Hypercube changed my perception of what is possible. This movie creates the idea of a fourth dimension that is full of repeating parallel realities and it completely blew my mind. At one point of the movie one of the characters opens a door to see herself being killed by another character then that other character's head is taken off by a piece of the wall, all while both of them are standing in another cube together. The walls tend to move and occasionally close in on a room disintegrating everything in its way. That is only one of the ways for someone to die in the hypercube, they could be murder, die of starvation, kill themselves, or even be torn apart by a flying razor-sharp four dimensional cube. It seems that death is the only escape, until they run into a character who was already killed.

This movie does not have the best acting but it is a great concept. The idea of another dimension where none of the laws of physics matter is mind blowing to me, we as a civilization only understand a small portion of what time and space really is.
